today was a loooong day. woke up, got ready, and then katelyn and i went to our audition for night of stars. we sang skip to the good part by he is we and i played the ukulele. it went well actually. we didnt mess up so thats great! we’ll find out at the end of this week, no matter what i had fun :] after that we just went back to my apartment, ate, and watched spongebob, white chicks, and toy story 3. yeah weird combo. after we got tired of being lazy we decided to go to blizzard beach. its one of the water parks at disney! it was fun even though we only had 40 minutes. when we got back from the water park it was pouring outside so we played in the rain for a bit. then we went to walmart. and now i just barely finished cleaning my apartment because we have inspection tomorrow! if our apartment passes inspection we get a butt load of CHOCOLATE! hopefully we pass :] but anyways thats pretty much all that happened today. i go back to work tomorrow and i am being trained in a new track at beauty and the beast. seriously learning new things here is never ending! but i love it :] night night miss you all!
alright i decided to start making a disney tumblr update about all my fun times here in florida. so much has happened and its been EXACTLY one month from yesterday since i started this crazy thing. my first week here was HORRIBLE and i was missing everyone back home terribly! after the first few weeks i had made many great friends, started my training, and was finally getting settled into my new place. My roomate, tedi, is from utah too! shes great! i love having one roomate :] one day while i was at home the phone rang. when i answered, it was the front desk asking who it was. i said it was debbie and then she said that i had a package! i got sooooo excited i went straight to the club house. as i was briskly walking to pick up my package a lizard ran right under my foot. those lizards are everwhere!! i cracked his neck and he died! i felt sooo bad! it was just laying there dead :[ and when i went to go sign for the package, it wasnt even my package. they thought i said my name was tedi not debbie… it was a sad day. on superbowl sunday it was pouring outside. tedi came home from work SOAKED. we then changed and played in the rain. i love playing in the rain in florida the water is so warm!! it soon later died down and then we went to our new friends place, who happened to live right next door. i have more stories but i regret not writing them down somewhere because i cant recall them right now. dont worry it will come to me and i will post random story time posts. anyways i work at hollywood studios costuming and currently i am helping backstage at the beauty and the beast show. i help the beast, lumier, and some of the ensemble get dressed. i also have to put on belle’s BIG GOLD BALL GOWN dress for her quick change! so much pressure but very fun! the beast is awesome! i recently got my nametag back because i had lost it at walmart. i was tameika from orlando FL for about a week, abby from china for a day, and jasmine from chicago illinois for a week. everyone at beauty and the beast called me jasmine. they loved it and once i told them my real name they all said that they like jasmine better for me. ….. well thanks! hah i can not keep going because sooo much has happened that its too much to write for one post. long story short, so far this experience has been great! im learning soo much here its crazy. a typical day is going to work, riding a few rides, hanging with some friends and then going to bed. oh and eating fits in the cracks of that. haha today i went to church with tedi, but since it was the princess marathon day traffic was hekka bad. we were so late to church that i missed sacrament. i got home after church, ate and then took my sunday nap. then i did tedi’s hair and got ready for night sacrament. i decided to go again since i missed partaking the sacrament in the morning. also katelyn was going so i went with her. katelyn is my new friend that i met, she is also from utah. small world. shes my AFF(awesome friend forever) :] love her! anyways. when we got back from night church we came home ate and practiced for our audition for tomorrow morning! i hope we dont mess up! the audition was soo random. OH missionary moment……my friend SANIO(long story) came over after the pocahontas party and saw a picture of jesus being baptized by john the baptist on my wall. we started talking about my church and i was trying to explain to him about the plan of salvation. he was getting confused (understandable) so i drew him a picture of it. after i taught him, he taught it back to katelyn and her besty kenzie. it was a trip! hes so funny and he actually taught it spot on! i was surprised! but anyways he is now coming with katie and i to church next week and then he is going to make us dinner! im excited. alright i think thats long enough for now. sorry, like i told yall before sooo much has happened in just one month here. i only wrote like 1/10 of what went on. till tomorrows update!
